Rev. Dr. Adam McKee, III
Dr. Adam E. McKee, III, is an Elder in Full Connection with the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church. He has a passion for preaching the gospel, evangelism and empowering believers for discipleship ministries. Adam has served churches in Florida, Virginia and Tennessee as well as serving as District Superintendent for the Oak Ridge District.
Adam has earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Drew University Theological School, a Master of Divinity degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology of Virginia Union University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethune-Cookman University. In addition, Adam is a 2010 graduate of the Duke University Denominational Executive Leadership Program.
Adam and his wife Charlotte have three daughters and a Cockapoo named Que.
Director of Christian Education/ Youth Pastor
Servings as Director of Christian Education and Youth Pastor, Crystal has been involved in ministry since high school. While attending Maryville College, she served First UMC of Maryville and found her calling in educational ministry. Crystal has her Masters of Christian Education from Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA. Crystal is married to Tim and they have three children, Eli, Khloe, and Bella.
Dr. Catharine Turner
Pianist / Organist
“CT” has been playing piano since childhood. She has served several churches over the last 20+ years as pianist, organist, choir director, handbell director and/or children’s director. She also has several years’ experience playing keyboard and percussion in pit orchestras for a local theater production company.
Ultimately, leadership is not about glorious crowning acts. It's about keeping your team focused on a goal and motivated to do their best to achieve it, especially when the stakes are high and the consequences really matter. It is about laying the groundwork for others' success, and then standing back and letting them shine.
